Overview

Hunters Namibia was founded in 1984 by Joof and Marina Lamprecht and has received international recognition as a premier Safari provider. They offer the perfect hunting destination for both first time and experienced Africa hunters as well as ‘Photo Safari’ seekers. Here you will experience genuine warm Namibian hospitality and can depend on a safe hunt. The hunting area of over 80 square miles is privately owned by the Lamprechts and is totally free range, also available through the Lamprechts is an adjacent property of over 40 square miles. These combined properties are home to 24 species of huntable game plus game birds. The family is dedicated to wildlife, the environment, local community and their country. They are actively involved in the Namibian Professional Hunting Association and their professionalism certainly shows.

Accommodations

Both the Main Lodge and the Lake Lodge are spacious natural stone buildings with thatch roofs that help them blend with the surrounding kopjes and savannahs. They offer guests suites with private baths, hot and cold  running water, extra long thick matressed beds tables, reading lamps, large wardrobes, rifle cabinets, comfortable chairs, desks and more. At the main lodge there are sun decks, and hammocks, and a swimming pool. 220-v electricity is available as are telephone and internet facilities, if needed.                 You certainly will not go hungry while with the Lamprechts.  They offer world class local cuisine prepared by gourmet chefs and staff.  The meals may include venison, fresh organically grown vegetable salads, fruits, herbs from the garden, fresh baked breads and more. Non venison meals can be requested ahead. Lunch is buffet –style and served as you return from the hunt during the heat of the day. Sundowners (cocktails) are served at the end of the hunt day around the fire pit. This is a great time for re-living memorable experiences from the day or other hunts. South African wines, international brands of hard liquor, and Namibian beer plus soft drinks and fruit juices are available in camp.
