A delicious lunch is served streamside with guests returning to the lodge for cocktails and dinner each evening.

Getting there

Take an International flight from The U.S. (Typically over- night) then transfer by Commercial flight from Buenos Aires to St. Martin -Chapelco with 1.5 hour minute land transfer to lodge.

Fishing

Fishing is a combination of daily float trips on the lower reaches of Rio Collon Cura, (before thec150 mile long Lago Piedra del Aguila) well-known for large browns and rainbows, or wade fishing the pocket water of the Rio Quemquemtreu. You float the Collon Cura because of the distance between the good angling spots. The wading is easy in the runs throughout the day. The majority of trout here are rainbows but there are some big browns as well, and resident brown trout of up to 15 pounds have been released recently. Wet flies are the typical approach, although the "hopper and dropper" rig is also used and productive.

Activities

At Estancia Quemquemtreu you can fish, horseback ride, hike, or just explore life on the ranch in the company of well-trained and attentive guides.
