Three Forks Ranch straddles the Colorado-Wyoming border, 40 miles north of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Accommodations

Three Forks Ranch Lodge offers a respite from your work-a-day, chaotic world. It is your home base for a luxurious mountain getaway you won’t soon forget. When your day at Three Forks Ranch comes to an end, you’ll love coming back to the Lodge to rest from the day and plan for tomorrow’s adventure. The 15 luxurious suites and rooms boast marble tiled baths, Soft robes, WIFi, Italian linens, private, walk-out patios. The Lodge has even more to offer beyond its stellar sleeping quarters. The Great Room at Three Forks Ranch is massive with Douglas fir beams highlighting the 40-foot cathedral ceiling and matching wood-burning fireplaces with comfortable seating. Fishing

Three Forks Ranch fishing can sometimes make you feel like you are living in a dream. The experienced guides can help novices and experts alike find the water that fills their dream and challenges their skills. The upper 16 miles of the Little Snake River system has become what may be the premier trout stream on the earth. Colorado Cutthroat, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout and the amazing Tiger Trout await your fly. Snugly set in the mountains of the Ranch, this stream offers the opportunity for a day of great fishing in a spectacular setting. In addition to the streams, there are ox-bow lakes which offer slower moving waters with hungry trout, just waiting for your fly. Catch and release is the standard.

Hunting

Three Forks Ranch, partners with the state of Colorado, offering some of the finest, no-hassle hunting in the world. This 200,000-acre spread offers free-range hunts. Through Colorado’s Ranching for Wildlife program, Three Forks Ranch offers bugling elk, trophy mule deer and spot and stalk pronghorn hunts. Three Forks is surrounded on three sides by National Forest and is the home to thousands of elk, mule deer and pronghorn. There is an incredible and experienced team of professional guides to help with your hunt.

Bull elk hunts are available during the rut with guaranteed licenses. Few places on earth offer this opportunity. Three Forks seems to offer a lot to the trophy hunter. The hunting section of the property is enrolled in Colorado's Ranching for Wildlife program, which allows Three Forks to operate hunts under special rules, including extended seasons and the right to use any legal weapon during any open season. The Ranching for Wildlife program also means the ranch gets a number of hunting licenses that are guaranteed. The hunting program is highlighted by two-to-one guide service, 5-star lodging and dining, fly fishing on the Little Snake River, sporting clays, airport ground-shuttle.

Trophy mule deer, elk and pronghorn antelope are also available to be hunted from the same facility that offers five-star accommodations, gourmet meals and a state-of-the-art spa that any non-hunting spouse would simply die for.

Getting There

Fly into Denver and on to Steamboat, the lodge will have someone meet you there and take you by car on to Three Forks.
