When you step out onto the many decks at Guayascate, you will be amazed by the numbers of doves, flying overhead. There is actually a field right outside the building where we shoot during certain seasons. From June to February you will hunt mainly in the nearby hills, while from March to May, the shooting will take place in the farming fields. The roosting ground is a heavily wooded area with native trees called Piquillin, it is crossed by a number of streams, producing an ideal habitat for the reproduction of doves. Vast and fertile valleys furnish immense quantities of grain to further lure the doves to the area. If you want to avoid the hassle at customs, the lodge has over 150 guns for rental, making it unnecessary to bring your own. There are 20 gauge semi-automatic over and under Berettas and Benellis and Beretta Silver Pigeons in 20 and 28 gauge.
Take an international flight into Santiago, Chile and transfer to a flight across the Andes into Cordoba International Airport. A staff member from Guayascate will meet you and clear immigrations and customs; then you will be taken by land for the 90 minute drive north to the lodge.
