Lago Hermoso Lodge is located in San Martin de los Andes, a wild place, high mountains, no fences, and wild Red Stags. The waters near Hermosa are pristine - clear, cold, and beautiful, many with backdrops of the Andes Mountains. It is an area rich in wildlife and scenic beauty. The Lodge at Lago Hermoso offers views overlooking Lago Hermoso and from the veranda, exquisite views of the mountains. It is a beautiful chalet and boasts seven bedrooms. Relax with cocktails on the covered veranda, then enjoy 5 star dining prepared by the resident chef and presented in the well-appointed dining room. The vaulted ceiling common area is comfortable and the decor is welcoming. There is a loft with billiards table and gaming area and a bar. The Red Stag came to Argentina from Europe around 1900. Pedro Luro introduced this majestic game animal into the vast stretches of Southern South America. The population thrived and many hunters have claimed world class trophies on an annual basis in the Andes and Pampas regions. The hunt, conducted by excellent professional guides, is over mountainous terrain on the lodge's 12,000 acres of prime stag habitat. It is brimming with trophy-sized Stag. Cypress dominates the area with mixed timber providing a great habitat for Red stag. There are several venues afforded including open staging areas, thick bamboo stands, and large mountain lakes, or from elevated blinds - and enough vegetation to support its large resident stag population. This spectacular hunt is 100% fair chase and is reserved for a maximum of 6 hunters. Single hunters are also welcome.
