Ringneck Ranch is located in Tipton Kansas on family homestead. It has been in the Houghton family since 1872, when the Cheyenne and herds of buffalo still roamed the plains of central Kansas. Ringneck sits alone in a pristine prairie valley looking over to the Blue Hills range. Keith and Debra Houghton have personally and professionally operated Ringneck Ranch on the family’s 5th generation homestead from its beginning in 1983. Keith and Deb’s hospitality and warmth make every stay a great one. The operation takes in over 10,000 acres of fine native pheasant, bobwhite and prairie chicken habitat imaginable.
The spacious main guest lodge is the perfect place to entertain friends, family and clients. From cozy rooms to family suites, the Ranch offers accommodations to suit each group’s needs. Rooms feature clean private or shared bathrooms as well as comfortable furnishings. Wireless Internet is available in all Ringneck Ranch lodging facilities. One of the highlights of the trip is the country gourmet meals! The home cooked meals start with hot from the oven biscuits with gravy, sausage, eggs, fruit juices and plenty of hot coffee. Lunch features homemade soups with homemade breads and desserts. Suppers include grilled steaks, pork chops and roast beef with vegetables, homemade rolls and fresh baked pies. **It is important to let the ranch know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions several weeks ahead of time.
**Ringneck Ranch does not have a license to sell alcohol, but guests are welcome to bring their own or order from L&M Liquor in Downs, Kansas, and it will be picked up for you.
