Wild Boar

Wild boar are the most adaptable big-game animal on earth, native or introduced to every continent except Antarctica. A mature boar is aggressive, intelligent, and carries tusks that have been the stuff of hunting folklore for thousands of years. European driven boar shoots, American feral hog hunts, and Argentine jabalí pursuits are three distinct but equally rewarding disciplines.

Argentina's La Pampa and Buenos Aires provinces are the accessible destination for North American hunters — free-range hunts with high population density and year-round availability. European boar (Germany, Poland, Hungary, Spain) carry the deepest hunting tradition. New Zealand has introduced boar populations on the North Island for close-range hunt-with-hounds programs.
